Responsibilities:

  • Diligence Activities: Oversee financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings (QoE) projects evaluating target companies in M&A transactions.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including trend analysis, earnings analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling, to support clients' transaction decisions.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored advisory solutions.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders. Format of reports includes detailed Excel workbooks and PowerPoint documents.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple advisory projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards. Oversee and facilitate information flow and discussions between clients and target companies participating in M&A transactions.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and best practices throughout the transaction process.
  • Flexibility: While the primary role of this position is within Transaction Advisory, it is expected that this individual will have the flexibility to assist with other Corporate Finance duties (i.e., investment banking and business valuation) as needed and as dictated by workflow.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any relevant course
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant and/or US CMA
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting (in audit or transaction advisory)
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office Suite apps
  • Expertise in US GAAP reporting requirements
  • Experience with clients operating in for-profit industries
  • Strong ability to review and interpret financial statements and underlying data; strong financial modeling skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with valuation methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
  • Willing to work the night shift
