US Auditor
About the Position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Auditor to join our clients growing team. This role is responsible for performing audit and accounting procedures, analyzing financial data, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. The Auditor will work closely with senior team members and management to support client engagements, deliver high-quality outputs, and meet established deadlines and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any relevant course
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant
- At least 1 year of working experience in external audit
- Has excellent oral and verbal communication skills
- Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles; knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS), and/or Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP)
- Experience in using Engagement CS is a plus but not required
- Experience in implementing, and assessing deficiencies of internal controls, and testing controls in accordance with AICPA standards
- Ability to utilize advanced Excel tools, including Pivot Tables, VLookup
- Works well in a team as well as individually
- Communication/People skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
- Willing to work in night shift
Responsibilities:
- Gain a thorough understanding of the audit approach, methodology, and tools
- Assist in designing the audit approach for clients
- End-to-end external audit
- Identify accounting issues under U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and/or IFRS; perform research to solve issues
- Oversee audit engagements and, keep seniors and managers informed of the engagement status
- Draft the audit summary memoranda, the management letter, and the presentation of key discussion points for the closing meeting with the management
- Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel to obtain a better understanding of business operations, processes, and functions
- Stay informed of current economic developments relevant to each clients business and industry
