Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelors / College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or any equivalent field
- At least 3 year (s) of work experience in the related field is required
- Proven experience in preparing of ATO Lodgments BAS, IAS & PAYG Summary
- Written and verbal English communication and comprehension
- Attention to detail, completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy management skills (goal setting, prioritization, planning ahead, clear focus, limited procrastination)
- Knowledge Coordination and project management
- Use of XERO, MYOB and Receipt Bank
- Awareness - Australian Accounting Practices & Taxation
Responsibilities:
- Maintain emails of client transactions and administrative tasks
- Preparation of ATO Lodgments BAS, IAS & PAYG Summary
- Lodgment and payment of Superannuation
- Lodgment and payment of Payroll Tax
- Declaration of Workers Compensation
- Preparation and issuance of PAYGW Summaries
- Preparation of Management Reports
- Setting up new accounts
- General Accounting, which includes:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
- Customer Invoices and Customer Payments
- Maintaining debtor records
- Suppliers bill payments
- Maintaining creditor records
- Bank account reconciliation
- Payroll processing
- Depreciation Schedule
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Code and record transactions
- Others: Electronic filing of transaction records and Responding to client queries
