Registered Manager (Children's Residential Care)

Location: Loughborough
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home in Loughborough. Supporting young people aged 8 to 18, the role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. You will oversee daily operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

A key part of the role will involve fostering positive change to achieve consistently high standards, ensuring the home delivers the best outcomes for the children in its care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team to provide exceptional care and meet regulatory standards.
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment, maintaining compliance with safeguarding and Health & Safety policies.
• Manage the homes operations, including staff rotas, training, and performance appraisals.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve consistently high-quality outcomes.

• Proven experience in children's residential care.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and childcare regulations.
• Leadership skills and the ability to secure OFSTED registration.
