Infrastructure Server Engineer requires:

  • Server Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Information Technology
  • Strong experience administering Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Experience managing enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure security principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to document standards and procedures.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Infrastructure Server Engineer duties:

  • Infrastructure & Platform Operations
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments (physical, virtual, and cloud-hosted).
  • Design and operate highly available virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper?V, or equivalent).
  • Manage enterprise storage platforms including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Perform capacity planning, lifecycle management, patching, and performance tuning across platforms.
  • Cloud & Hybrid Services
  • Administer Microsoft cloud technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Security, Resilience & Compliance
  • Support security best practices, including identity protection, least-privilege access, logging, and monitoring.
  • Design and test backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
  • Work with information technology team members to remediate vulnerabilities and support audits.
  • Collaboration & Project Leadership
  • Support infrastructure-related projects, including system design, evaluation, and implementation.
  • Work closely with application, networking, security, and end-user support teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Support production systems, manufacturing, and operational platforms.
  • Participate in after-hours support for critical outages, maintenance, and upgrades.
