Analytical Chemist (Temp): Wet Chemistry, ICP, GC

Analytical Chemist for a temporary assignment at an analytical lab in Madison Heights. If you're strong in wet chemistry, comfortable on lab instruments, and enjoy turning results into clear customer reports, we'd like to talk to you.

What you'll do

• Perform wet chemistry: titrations, filtrations, dilutions, extractions, and gravimetric analysis
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments: GC-FID, ICP, IC, and SEM/EDS
• Use pH and specific ion electrode meters
• Keep analytical methods and procedures current
• Prepare customer reports and support project teams
• Communicate with customers through correspondence and presentations
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and quality standards
• Enter and manage data in LIMS, Microsoft Office, and statistical software

What you bring

• B.S. in Chemistry preferred, with lab experience
• Analytical lab experience strongly preferred
• Strong wet chemistry and chemical math skills
• Experience with GC-FID, ICP, IC, or SEM/EDS is a plus
• Detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced lab
• Strong PC skills and good communication
