Electrical Engineer requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
  • Comfortable working with diverse electrical equipment and solving complex technical problems.
  • Inspection experience.
  • Experience with:
  • Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
  • Transformers
  • Medium- and low-voltage distribution systems
  • Industrial electrical equipment
  • Must reside near Houston, TX.
  • Hybrid schedule:
  • 4 days/week in the office
  • Remote on Fridays
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Travel workload varies by project.
  • Hands-on industrial power systems experience who is skilled in troubleshooting medium- and low-voltage equipment, understands NEC requirements, is comfortable working directly with field operations, and is flexible to travel throughout Texas and Louisiana as needed.
  • Proficient in National Electric Code and industry standard methodologies

DUTIES:

  • Performs a wide spectrum of moderately difficult assignments, requiring technical evaluation, innovation, and judgement while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Works independently on mid-sized projects/technical assignments supporting operations
  • Maintains a strong understanding of industry and operational requirements
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of safety requirements, produces results and meets goals
  • Exhibits proficiency in Company processes, policies, procedures, and guidelines established by organization and governing agencies
  • Prepares and delivers presentations to individuals
