1st Shift Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Sr. ME) requires:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years of experience within the manufacturing background
- 5+ years of experience programming and modifying CNC programs.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or Mastercam.
- Knowledge of machining fixtures (pneumatic and hydraulic).
- Knowledge in various types of CNC machining equipment and manufacturers.
- Experience with CNC lathes and CNC milling machines). Concept of statistics and capability studies.
- Understanding of GD&T and CMM system concepts.
- Knowledge and understanding of the following
- Zoller tool preset and measuring systems
- various types of carbide inserts
- tool holder
- CNC programming, CNC lathe operation, CNC milling machine operation, AutoCAD, Mastercam, GD&T, CMM, statistical process control, capability studies, machining fixtures, pneumatic fixtures, hydraulic fixtures, Zoller tool preset and measuring systems, carbide inserts, tool holders, Fuji machining centers, Mori Seiki machining centers, OEE, 1st piece inspection, manufacturing, CNC
1st Shift Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Sr. ME) duties:
- Improve OEE and scrap performance on existing production lines
- Maintains process integrity by developing and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
- Programs and modifies CNC programs on lathes and milling machines.
- Validate CNC programs on equipment.
- Works closely with quality control on 1st piece inspections and process improvements tverify that product being produced is in specification and in statistical process control
- All other duties as assigned.
