(#10215) The Expert Human Resources Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders from multiple functions with a focus on Human Resources (HR) topics (i.e., new technology, process optimization, HR program deliverables, etc.). The incumbent sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, ensures accurate allocation of resources, leads multidisciplinary teams and monitors the progress of various projects. The role manages end-to-end planning and delivery of projects to meet business requirements within a defined scope, time and budget. Moreover, the incumbent has a strategic and execution focused mindset and can mobilize diverse teams and work with executive leadership to define projects that align with CNs strategic goals as well as providing quality deliverables.

Main Responsibilities

Project Management

· Coordinate and complete medium-scale projects and programs

· Identify project and program milestones, critical success factors, risks and resource requirements

· Develop project plans that include timeline, budget and resources

· Build business cases

· Manage budgets and align project deliverables to expected business case benefits

· Collaborate with business stakeholders, partners and vendors to deliver projects according to plan

· Prepare monthly project status to communicate progress and issues to the team, senior management and stakeholders

· Ensure all project management best practices are applied

· Ensure project transparency with timely and clear progress updates

· Negotiate changes in scope, budget and schedule with sponsor

· Ensure adherence to change management process

· Ensure compliance with all appropriate company Information and Technology (I&T) standards

· Facilitate workshops throughout the project

· Translate business and operational needs into solutions through documentation of project roadmap

· Facilitate the definition and tracking of key metrics related to the project deliverables

Leading Business Improvement Initiatives

· Responsible for discovering and validating the current state of the selected processes

· Works with business owners to build an optimized to be model that is specific on approach (i.e., technology, people, process) and outcomes.

· Lead Kaizen type event or discovery sessions around Business Processes with internal business partners to clarify issues and underlying causes

· Analyze processes to identify optimization and automation opportunities and document, evaluate and conduct cost-benefits analysis for those opportunities

· Perform benchmark and best practices reviews

· Develop business optimization recommendations based on thorough quantitative analysis and present those recommendations to business partners

· Provide implementation support in defining implementation strategy and plan as well as solution roll out

· Provide training, mentoring and guidance to business process owners related to the use of Continuous Improvement concepts and tools

Working Conditions

The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday. The role may require occasional travel (up to 25%) to company Headquarters (HQ) depending on the incumbents location. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and manage stress.

Requirements

Experience

Human Resources and I&T

· Minimum 10 years of experience

o Minimum 5 years of experience demonstrating leadership qualities and overseeing deliverables

o Minimum 5 years of experience in project management leading medium size projects

o Minimum 5 years in as a Business Process Analyst

Education/Certification/Designation

· Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information System, Computer Science, or equivalent

· Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, or equivalent

· Lean Six Sigma Green belt, or equivalent program credentials

· In depth knowledge of corporate functions such as HR

· Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Project and Excel

· Knowledge of Lean Six sigma methodology and tools

· Strong Leadership and stakeholder engagement ability

· Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
