Software Backend Developer

Responsibilities 

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code using Object Oriented Methodologies
• Build scalable and reliable data systems consisting of multiple modules and sub-modules
• Capable of identifying client’s pain points and provide adequate solutions via the implementation of new features in the back-end web application.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain web applications according to the requirements given
• Integrate back-end python-based modules with user-interface elements developed by front-end developers
• Designing, building, testing, and deploying services and APIs that will be integral to our products
• Provide troubleshooting support for operations in high impact problem management activities
• To performs duties on off business hours, and weekends when instructed by lead

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience web application development

• Experience working with Python based framework such as Django

• Good understanding in Database design preferably with knowledge in Mongo DB

• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git and its workflow

• Solid understanding of HTTP and RESTful JSON API

• Experience working in an agile environment

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure is an added advantage
