Material Handler/Shipping & Receiving - 1st Shift

ASAP START - 1 YEAR CONTRACT ROLE WITH POTENTIAL EXTENSION/CONVERSION TO FTE

1ST SHIFT: 7:00AM START M-F W/SOME WEEKENDS AS NEEDED

OVERVIEW: 

A Shipping & Receiving coordinator will be responsible for all logistics in the company. They will manage all inbound and outbound shipments in coordination with purchasing, project teams and management,

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & SKILLS:
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to all of the following:
Load and unload small packages
Forklift operation
Shipment documentation and Creation.
Package shipments
Deburr and handle small metal parts

Must be USC/Green Card
No travel required
Lift 40lbs, comfortable driving a fork truck, will be trained
Preferred: Shipping/Receiving experience


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
US Citizen or Green Card required.

DESIRED SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to work with minimal oversite

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand most of the day while working 40 hour work week (Day shift) with overtime paid as worked

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Day Shift 7 am work start time M-F
Must be flexible with schedule to accommodate fixed deadlines sometimes working Saturday and or Sunday
