Contract Electrical Design Engineer

Project Scope: Our client is seeking engineering staff augmentation to assist in reviewing BOMs and assigning ECCN classification to parts. The contractors will be supervised by engineering staff in their daily work.

CAD Package: Siemens NX & AutoCAD. NX is the primary 3D modelling and drafting software. AutoCAD is used on a more limited basis for electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Both connect to Teamcenter as PLM for data storage.

Engineering Needs:
Identify all EEE (Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical Parts) on BOM
Add Quality code 10 in Syteline to the EEE parts once identified

For Cable Harnesses:
Add Manufacture Name and PN to BOM for quoting purposes


Contractor Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with Siemens NX, AutoCAD or equivalent
• U.S. Citizenship
• Experience with ECCN parts classification (export control)
• Experience adequate to make minor alternations to designs
• Preference for on site in Ogden, UT, but able to consider virtual or based at other offices
