Compensation:

  • Base Pay: $35/hour
  • Shift Premium: Additional $1/hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts
  • Overtime: 1.5x hourly pay for hours over 40 and Saturdays; 2x hourly pay for Sundays and holidays

Shifts:

  • 2nd Shift: 2 PM - 10 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10 PM - 6 AM
  • New employees typically start on 2nd or 3rd shift
  • Overtime is mandatory on 2/3 Saturdays per month (rotational basis)


Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician / Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our client's team at their CNC machining facility in Three Rivers, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with electrical work on machines in a manufacturing environment. (This client is a Tier I Automotive supplier manufacturing site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Work with high voltage (480V), medium voltage (120V), and low voltage (24V DC) circuitry
  • Utilize and troubleshoot PLC systems, with a preference for Allen Bradley
  • Adjust and navigate parameters of Program Frequency Drives
  • Maintain and repair CNC machines, with a preference for Fanuc and Siemens controllers
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as motors, drives, relays, proximity switches, light screens, safety circuits, cables, and ethernet communication issues

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience in industrial maintenance and electrical maintenance
  • Proficiency in high voltage (480V), medium voltage (120V), and low voltage (24V DC) circuitry
  • Experience with PLC systems, particularly Allen Bradley
  • Familiarity with Program Frequency Drives parameters
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with CNC machinery, especially Fanuc and Siemens controllers

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in the automotive industry
  • Strong skills in either PLCs or CNCs, or both

Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrated examples of troubleshooting experience
  • Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shifts and mandatory overtime as required
