Location: Los Angeles, CA (LAX area) – 100% onsite
Schedule: Full-time hours, must be flexible for weekdays and weekends as needed
Duration: 3–6 month contract with strong contract-to-hire potential

About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician II to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs), conveyor systems, and related airport mechanical/electrical equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and electrical experience who thrives in a fast-paced field environment and enjoys solving equipment issues that directly impact airport operations.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain passenger boarding bridges and related systems
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency corrective repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems
- Support baggage conveyor and jam-clearing response as needed
- Read blueprints, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders
- Complete PM and CM logs, work orders, and maintenance documentation in CMMS systems
- Operate company vehicles, carts, forklifts, and support equipment
- Maintain strict compliance with all safety procedures and airport operating standards
What We're Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain airport/security clearance
- 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in industrial, facilities, conveyor, HVAC, mechanical, or electrical environments
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong electrical repair and diagnostic experience
- Experience working with motors, controls, wiring, and equipment repair
Preferred
- Experience with 480V and 3-phase motors
- Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair experience
- Conveyor, baggage system, or airport equipment exposure
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- CMMS or computerized maintenance system experience
- Prior experience in airport, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance environments
