Join a fast-paced engineering team supporting vehicle and product system design, development, and validation. This role is ideal for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Creo, ANSYS/FEA, GD&T, structures, and full vehicle integration. The ideal candidate brings strong CAD design, analytical problem-solving, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills in an automotive, aerospace, or advanced vehicle environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop vehicle systems, structural components, and mechanical assemblies
- Create 3D parametric CAD models and component packaging layouts using Creo
- Perform linear static FEA using ANSYS to optimize design performance and structural integrity
- Generate technical drawings, detailing packages, and GD&T documentation per ASME Y14.5
- Develop and execute DVP&R test plans, validation methods, and reporting
- Support system physics modeling, characterization, and design verification
- Prepare technical specifications, engineering reports, and project status updates
- Support prototype builds, technicians, and shop teams during development activities
- Resolve engineering issues through mechanical analysis, CAE, and structured problem-solving
- Respond to ECRs, manufacturing questions, and product improvement requests
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, validation, program management, and customer teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of engineering design experience
- Strong background in vehicle systems or product design
- Experience with full vehicle architecture and system interaction
- Proficiency in Creo CAD
- Experience with ANSYS or equivalent FEA tools
- Hands-on knowledge of Windchill PLM
