Join our dynamic team at Global Coordination Center Ltd. Globalco is a Hong Kong-based company specializing in AI-powered outsourcing, data operations, and business process optimization, with major operations in the Philippines and UAE.

The Junior data scientist will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets using analytical, statistical, and programming skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and generative AI, and will be able to develop and implement algorithms to extract insights from complex data. The data scientist will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions to complex problems.

Position: Junior Data Scientist

Location: One Ayala Building, Makati City, Philippines

Working Hours: 8PM to 5AM, Monday to Friday (Night Shift)

Remuneration: 35,000 PHP - 40,000 per month

Work setup: Full-time onsite

Responsibilities:

• Handle data collection, pre-processing and analysis.
• Address business problems by building models
• Present information through the use of data visualization techniques
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
• Collect and analyze large datasets using analytical, statistical, and programming skills.
• Develop and implement algorithms to extract insights from complex data.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions to complex problems.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and generative AI.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong background in machine learning and generative AI.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
