Communications Specialist needs 3+ years experience
Communications Specialist requires:
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in teams, especially cross-functional groups
- Advanced communication skills with proven ability to drive strategic direction
- Experience creating communication campaigns
- Tech savvy with proven proficiency with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience with other internal communication, marketing, or collaboration tools such as WebEx and Microsoft Teams
Communications Specialist duties:
- Develop and implement communications plan, setting up communication systems and processes
- Partner with stakeholders developing templates and toolkits to streamline content and enforce consistency in messaging
- Develop communication tools such as newsletter, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and business review presentations
- Partner with stakeholders to create a communications roadmap based on business initiatives and desired outcomes
- Manage various meetings and events, including town halls, team engagement, and other events
- Create and develop new and interesting ways to engage team, using various tools and methods
- Be the liaison and build relationships with internal partners and stakeholders to garner support across portfolio
