About the job EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Specialist
EHS Specialist needs 3-5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
EHS Specialist requires:
- Degree in Industrial or Occupational Health and Safety required.
- ASP, CSP or COSHO preferred.
- 3-5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the following fields: JHA, MOC, Ergonomics, Crane Safety, ANSI, NFPA, HAZCOM, HAZWOPER.
EHS Specialist Tech duties:
- Develop and implement motivational and incentive programs that promote a high degree of safety awareness and enthusiasm.
- Establish, record and track safety performance metrics, both leading and lagging indicators.
- Ensure that behavior-based observation programs are effectively implemented and tracked.
- Review planned changes and new equipment installations prior to receipt.
- Approve or recommend changes in manufacturing and engineering matters of plant layout, location/relocation of machinery, equipment, facilities, safety designs and processes.
