Remote Platform Engineer Linux duties:
Certify multiple hardware platforms and the interrelationship/interoperability of different operating systems and complex environments.
Provide technical leadership and responsibility for the installation and certification of all supporting software and hardware in order to assure a sound deployment basis for production implementations.
Developing data architecture to support both the production system, and the backend data science and modeling tools.
Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and takes into account target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems.
Must be willing to adjust schedule to perform maintenance and upgrades outside of business hours and be part of an on-call rotation.
