Leasing Account Manager needs 3-5 years lease administration, abstraction and lease database experience

Leasing Account Manager requires:

  • BA in Accounting or JD in Law
  •  3-5 years lease administration, abstraction and lease database experience
  •  Advanced understanding of lease language and terms and ability to abstract lease documents with a high degree of data integrity/accuracy
  •  Prior experience utilizing a lease database
  •  Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills
  •  Intermediate Excel skills
  • SAP skills
  • Retail industry experience

Leasing Account Manager duties:

  • Manage the abstraction of primary terms and conditions of new and amended real estate lease contracts
  • Manages team and all functions related to processing of rent payments for leased real estate locations reconciling and resolving discrepancies.
  • Works directly with the Legal, Real Estate, Accounting and other key customers in a shared services function.
  • Manage the lease databases with abstracted information and approved changes
  • Communicate directly with Legal, Real Estate and Accounting on lease abstractions
  • Responsible for reviewing and reconciling payments
  • Respond to sales inquiries and % rent correspondence from landlords, working with Lease Accountants as necessary
  • Resolves lease interpretation questions and considers the impact of new lease terms, renewals, relocations and property ownership changes on the rent payment process
