Leasing Account Manager needs 3-5 years lease administration, abstraction and lease database experience
Leasing Account Manager requires:
- BA in Accounting or JD in Law
- 3-5 years lease administration, abstraction and lease database experience
- Advanced understanding of lease language and terms and ability to abstract lease documents with a high degree of data integrity/accuracy
- Prior experience utilizing a lease database
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- SAP skills
- Retail industry experience
Leasing Account Manager duties:
- Manage the abstraction of primary terms and conditions of new and amended real estate lease contracts
- Manages team and all functions related to processing of rent payments for leased real estate locations reconciling and resolving discrepancies.
- Works directly with the Legal, Real Estate, Accounting and other key customers in a shared services function.
- Manage the lease databases with abstracted information and approved changes
- Communicate directly with Legal, Real Estate and Accounting on lease abstractions
- Responsible for reviewing and reconciling payments
- Respond to sales inquiries and % rent correspondence from landlords, working with Lease Accountants as necessary
- Resolves lease interpretation questions and considers the impact of new lease terms, renewals, relocations and property ownership changes on the rent payment process
