Job Summary

As a technical expert in assembly processes, responsible for developing and optimizing automotive component assembly (electronics, chassis), ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost targets. Requires expertise in error-proofing (Poka-Yoke), robotic automation, and bilingual (English/Mandarin) skills to drive defect reduction and global technical alignment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Development

- Define assembly parameters (torque, press force) via DOE to achieve FPY99%.

- Optimize fixture designs using CAD/CAE tools.

2. Equipment & Automation

- Commission robotic systems (vision inspection, servo presses) to achieve OEE85%.

- Validate new equipment (laser welders) during OTS trials.

3. Quality Control

- Implement SPC control charts (torque Cpk1.67) and lead root cause analysis (5Why).

4. New Project Support

- Conduct DFM analysis during APQP, review PFMEA, and support PPAP submissions.

5. Continuous Improvement

- Deploy error-proofing devices (sensors) and lead Lean Six Sigma projects.

6. Collaboration & Training

- Resolve customer complaints with technical reports and train teams on SOPs.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.

- Experience: 3+ years in automotive assembly; electronics/module experience preferred.

- Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt, IATF 16949 Auditor, PMP preferred.

- Skills:

- Proficient in SolidWorks, Power BI; bilingual for global collaboration;

- Deep knowledge of robotic automation and error-proofing design.

- Attributes: Analytical problem-solver, adaptable to fast-paced environments.
