ADABAS Database Administrator (Mainframe)

Title: ADABAS Database Administrator (Mainframe)

We're looking for a highly experienced ADABAS Database Administrator to support a large-scale mainframe environment for a leading telecommunications technology client. This is an urgent role replacing a senior team member, requiring deep expertise in Software AG products and IBM mainframe systems.

Key Requirements:
Strong experience with ADABAS database administration (60+ DBs, large-scale environments)
Proficiency in Natural / Natural Security / Natural One
Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS, TSO, TPX, and JCL
Experience with Entire NetWork, ADABAS Security, SQL Gateway, AOS, Review
Expertise in performance tuning, backup & recovery, and troubleshooting
Experience with mainframe tools (CA Broadcom suite, ServiceNow is a plus)

What You'll Do:
Manage and maintain enterprise ADABAS databases
Monitor, tune, and optimize system performance
Handle backup, recovery, and system upgrades
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Support integration across Software AG and mainframe technologies

On-call support required
