Role Overview:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing AI-powered social products. You will architect and build robust backend systems that empower social marketers to seamlessly interact with cutting-edge AI models for image and video generation, driving innovation in content creation. Your work will directly impact the way users engage with AI-driven social media experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Scalable AI Solutions: Architect and build backend systems that enable seamless interactions between social marketers and advanced AI models for content creation, focusing on scalable, high-performance solutions.
  • Optimize Large-Scale Data Processing: Implement high-performance data pipelines to efficiently handle large volumes of structured and unstructured datasets, utilizing both SQL and NoSQL technologies. Ensure data integrity and optimization for AI-driven applications.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and engineers, to prototype, iterate, and deploy impactful features that elevate user engagement and contribute to business growth.
  • Architect and Scale Cutting-Edge Systems: Research and implement innovative backend architectures that support large-scale data processing and high-volume user activity, ensuring system performance and scalability.
  • Drive Technical Strategy: Contribute to product roadmaps and collaborate with leadership to define and implement engineering best practices. Play a key role in shaping the future of AI-powered social media engagement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, ideally within fast-paced, early-stage environments.
  • Expertise in developing scalable backend solutions using technologies such as Django, Python, and cloud services.
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines for both structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving and design skills, with a passion for creating innovative, user-centric systems.
  • Proactive mindset, with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results from conception to deployment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
