Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Level Circuit Modeling Engineer to support the development and maintenance of accurate system models for our proprietary computing memory devices and architectures. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of circuit fundamentals and VLSI principles, with proficiency in computational modeling tools such as Octave or Python.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining system models for proprietary computing memory devices and architectures.
- Apply basic knowledge of circuit fundamentals to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
- Utilize Octave or Python for system simulations and initial testing to ensure models align with design specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system models into broader technology solutions.
- Document all stages of system model development, ensuring accurate records and reports are maintained.
- Address and resolve issues encountered during the development process, leveraging core VLSI and mathematical principles.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies in system modeling and in-memory computing.
- Support senior engineers in managing project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely task execution.
- Adhere to company coding standards, quality protocols, and regulatory requirements for software development.
- Actively participate in reviews and meetings, providing constructive feedback and suggesting improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of circuit fundamentals, VLSI basics, and mathematical concepts.
- Proficiency in computational modeling tools, such as Octave or Python.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
