Position Summary
This role is responsible for end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, storage, inventory control, safety, and equipment handling. The position ensures material accuracy, system-data alignment (SAP), efficient material flow, and supports production and customer delivery through disciplined execution and cross-functional coordination. This role also requires hands-on forklift operation as part of daily warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage incoming and outgoing materials. Verify quantities, check packaging integrity, and follow internal receiving/inspection standards for inbound materials. Ensure all outbound shipments meet packaging, labeling, and customer requirements.
Organize and manage warehouse storage layout. Assign and maintain proper locations based on material characteristics and usage frequency. Enforce FIFO and optimize material flow to improve efficiency and minimize unnecessary handling.
Monitor and maintain storage conditions. Ensure temperature, humidity, cleanliness, and protection requirements are consistently met. Identify and escalate any abnormal conditions in a timely manner.
Ensure warehouse safety compliance. Maintain clear aisles, proper stacking, equipment safety, and overall 5S standards. Prevent safety incidents and material damage.
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks. Ensure full alignment between physical stock and SAP system data. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies with a target of 100% inventory accuracy.
Drive cross-functional resolution of slow-moving, obsolete, and non-conforming materials. Work with Production, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing teams to ensure timely disposition and risk reduction.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Perform daily equipment checks and follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Develop and execute maintenance plans for warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, racks, and scanning devices. Ensure all equipment remains in safe and operational condition.
Support production order closing activities. Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve material discrepancies related to issuing, returning, scrapping, and adjustments in a timely manner.
Provide monthly inventory reporting and analysis. Monitor inventory value, turnover, and warehouse space utilization. Drive improvements in inventory efficiency and space optimization.
Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned and continuously propose improvements to enhance warehouse processes and standardization.
Qualifications
High school diploma or above; logistics, supply chain, or related background preferred.
Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiar with warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, storage, FIFO, batch control, and inventory management.
Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems. Basic Excel skills required for data tracking and reconciliation.
Strong attention to detail and accountability for accuracy in quantity, packaging, and system transactions.
Ability to identify issues and drive resolution across departments.
Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices and equipment maintenance.
Ability to work a 48-hour schedule (Monday to Saturday) and adapt to operational demands.
Must have forklift operating experience; valid forklift certification is required or must be obtained within a short period after hire.
