Position Overview
We are seeking a Test Engineer to lead NPI testing, product validation, and production verification efforts in the U.S.
In this role, you will ensure that products and processes are fully validated prior to mass production, enabling early detection of issues and minimizing downstream risks. You will play a critical role as the quality gatekeeper during NPI and production ramp.
Key Responsibilities
NPI Testing & Validation

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for NPI products, including:
- Functional testing
- Performance benchmarking
- Reliability testing (thermal, vibration, lifecycle, stress)
- Support EVT / DVT / PVT phases to ensure all validation requirements are met
Production Verification
- Validate test fixtures, automated test systems, and measurement tools
- Ensure test procedures are accurate, repeatable, and scalable for mass production
- Partner with ME and PDE teams to align testing with production processes
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze test data and generate clear, actionable reports
- Identify trends, anomalies, and potential failure modes
- Provide recommendations for design, process, or test improvements
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with PDE, ME, PM, and FAE teams to:
- Drive product validation
- Support process improvements
- Resolve customer and production issues
- Support root cause analysis for failures identified during NPI
Continuous Improvement
- Improve and standardize test methodologies and procedures
- Enhance test coverage, efficiency, and reliability
- Support automation and digitalization of testing processes
Qualifications
Experience
- 3–7+ years in Test Engineering, NPI validation, or Quality Engineering
- Experience in EMS / contract manufacturing environments preferred
- Background in consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, or data center hardware
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of functional, performance, and reliability testing
- Hands-on experience with test equipment, fixtures, and automated systems
- Ability to design test procedures and troubleshoot failures
Execution & Problem Solving
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced NPI environments with tight timelines
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
Communication
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional and global teams
Language
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related field
