Software Engineer – Knowledge Graph / Places Data

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer – Knowledge Graph / Places Data to join a fast-growing AI company building an innovative local commerce platform.

You will play a key role in developing large-scale knowledge graphs, integrating multi-source business data, and building the data infrastructure that powers local search, discovery, and matching.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale knowledge graph and POI (Point of Interest) data systems.
• Develop entity resolution and entity linking solutions across multiple data sources.
• Build data pipelines to integrate, clean, and maintain large-scale business and location data.
• Design ontologies and schemas for real-world entities and their relationships.
• Improve data quality, accuracy, and consistency across merchant and business listings.
• Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to support search, discovery, and matching capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Knowledge Graphs, POI / Places Data, or large-scale entity data systems.
• Strong experience in Entity Resolution, Entity Linking, or Multi-source Data Fusion.
• Experience designing ontologies, schemas, and scalable data architectures.
• Solid understanding of data engineering, ETL pipelines, and large-scale data processing.
• Ability to design and operate scalable graph-based systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with mapping platforms, location intelligence, local search, or merchant data systems.
• Experience with geospatial data processing.
• Background in large-scale knowledge graphs or business listing data-quality systems.
• Experience at major mapping, navigation, search, or local commerce technology companies is a plus.
