Locum Vet Surgeon

We are looking for an experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our small animal practice in Spalding, Lincolnshire. This is a temporary position for someone available from 14th October 2024 to 31st December 2024. You will be working four days a week, covering consultations, surgeries, and other general veterinary duties.

Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire
Contract: Temporary (14/10/2024 to 31/12/2024)
Working Hours: 4 days per week
Shift Times: 09:00 - 18:00

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine surgeries and treatments.
• Conduct consultations with clients, diagnosing and treating a variety of small animal conditions.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver high standards of patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Provide excellent client communication and support throughout treatment processes.

Requirements

• MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
• Previous experience in small animal practice is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and consultation skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Immediate availability for the contract period (14/10/2024 31/12/2024).
