Locum Veterinary Surgeon | Kent

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a reputable veterinary practice in Kent starting in January 2025. This is an ongoing locum position offering a Monday to Thursday work schedule, with shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The practice is looking for a confident and compassionate individual who enjoys delivering high-quality care to a variety of animals in a well-established, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing excellent veterinary care, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of species
• Performing routine and emergency surgeries
• Delivering consultations and consultations to clients in a professional manner
• Collaborating with a supportive team of veterinary professionals
• Keeping accurate and timely medical records
• Ensuring the highest standards of patient care and service

About You:

• RCVS registered and a qualified Veterinary Surgeon
• Proven experience in a veterinary practice, ideally as a locum or in a similar role
• Strong clinical skills, with experience in both consultations and surgeries
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Flexibility and a proactive approach to work
• Compassionate and caring with a passion for animal welfare
