Company / Background :
We are seeking, on behalf of our client, a well-known pharmaceutical company in DR Congo, a Sales Manager. Based in Kinshasa, this role involves training and managing commercial delegates and maintaining relationships with various hospitals. The ideal candidate must be Congolese and fluent in both English and French.
Missions & Responsibilities :
- Induction, Training, and Evaluation: Lead the onboarding and continuous development of Delegate Medical and Delegate Commercial teams, ensuring they are well-prepared and motivated.
- Achieving Targets and Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed targets in assigned areas, driving business growth.
- Field Work Leadership: Ensure effective fieldwork by accompanying delegates, monitoring their activities, and providing guidance for optimal territorial coverage.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory of samples and marketing materials, ensuring effective distribution and utilization for promotional activities.
- Reporting to Leadership: Directly report to the Regional Expat Manager or Country Manager, providing insights and updates on team performance and field activities.
- Doctor and Pharmacy Engagement: Conduct mandatory meetings with at least 20 doctors and pharmacies to build and sustain strong professional relationships.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, pricing, incentives, and overall effectiveness to stay ahead in the market.
- Alignment with Headquarters: Collaborate with the Head Office and product management team to ensure strategic alignment and effective implementation of initiatives.
Required Profile :
- Proven experience in a similar role in a Pharmaceutical company
Bachelors degree / Licence in Pharmacy
Congolese national
- Bilingual : English and French
Good communication skills
