Our client, one of the leading agro-industrial companies in the DRC, is seeking a Workshop & Agriculture operations Manager for its Lubumbashi farm.
The Workshop & Agriculture operations Manager is responsible for supervising mechanics, electricians, welders, service mechanics, and workshop assistants as well as supporting seasonal operations (planting, harvesting).
Missions & Responsibilities :
- Operations Support planning and execution of daily and weekly maintenance schedules for: Tractors and agricultural machinery Trucks, light vehicles, trailers Yellow machines (dozers, loaders, excavators)
Ensure preventive maintenance and servicing is carried out on time
- Supervise mechanics, electricians, welders, service mechanics, and workshop assistants
Support training and skill development of workshop staff
Support workshop store management
Monitor spare parts usage
Maintain accurate records for: Maintenance and repair jobs
Prepare daily and weekly operational reports for management
Required profile :
- Proven experience in searching, identifying, and verifying spare parts using online catalogues, manufacturer databases, and digital parts manuals (CLAAS, John Deere, etc.)
Solid management skills
Strong organizational skills for managing high-volume stock.
- Experience in agricultural workshops, especially with heavy-equipment parts.
Fluent in English
Good mastery of Excel
