What's the purpose of the role?

The purpose of this role is to transform structured concepts, shot lists, and raw footage into high-quality, premium, and brand-aligned video content. The editor ensures that each piece not only reflects the intended creative vision but also meets performance goals across campaigns, paid media, and social platforms. All deliverables must be polished, cohesive, and aligned with brand aesthetics.

What will I be doing?

  • Interpreting creative briefs and translating them into final video edits
  • Reviewing and selecting the best footage from raw material
  • Building compelling narratives with strong pacing and structure
  • Applying advanced color correction and grading to ensure a cohesive and elevated look
  • Editing for different platforms (paid, social, long-form) with performance-driven adjustments
  • Syncing music and adding sound design elements
  • Creating multiple versions of each video (cutdowns and formats)
  • Ensuring all final outputs meet premium, campaign-ready standards


What are my deliverables?

  • Final hero videos that align with the campaign concept
  • Cutdowns in multiple durations (e.g., 6s, 10s, 15s, 30s)
  • Platform-specific formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
  • Multiple variations for testing and optimization when needed
  • Well-organized project files for revisions and future reuse


What experience do I need to succeed?

  • Proven experience in premium or high-end video editing (not basic or UGC content)
  • Experience working with fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or luxury-adjacent brands
  • A strong portfolio showcasing cinematic, campaign-level content
  • Experience handling full post-production workflows from raw footage to final delivery
  • Familiarity with editing for both brand storytelling and performance marketing
  • Experience managing multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously


What skills do I need to succeed?

  • Advanced video editing (clean transitions, pacing, sequencing)
  • Strong color correction and grading (critical for this role)
  • Audio editing and sound design
  • Multi-format export and platform optimization
  • High-level visual taste (understanding what feels premium vs amateur)
  • Storytelling through editing, timing, and music
  • Ability to translate abstract creative briefs into polished outputs
