What's the purpose of the role?

The purpose of this role is to lead and elevate social-first design execution while ensuring visually strong, cohesive, and platform-native creative across social media channels. This role combines hands-on graphic design, creative leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking to deliver engaging social content that aligns with brand goals and performance objectives.

What will I be doing?

  • Leading and overseeing social design projects across multiple brands and campaigns.
  • Designing high-performing social assets including graphics, carousel posts, story templates, reels covers, and social-first visuals.
  • Maintaining and evolving brand aesthetics across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Reviewing creative work and providing feedback, direction, and mentorship to designers.
  • Building and improving scalable design systems, templates, and workflows.
  • Collaborating with social managers on monthly content calendars and campaign needs.
  • Working cross-functionally with influencer, paid media, and production teams.
  • Translating larger brand campaigns into modular, social-native visual assets.
  • Participating in client reviews and presenting creative rationale when needed.
  • Supporting presentations, strategy decks, and visual storytelling initiatives.
  • Ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Exploring AI-assisted tools and new creative formats to improve efficiency and performance.

What experience do I need to succeed?

  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design with a strong focus on social-first content.
  • Agency experience is a plus.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or overseeing designers or creative teams.
  • Strong experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging social channels.
  • Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with motion or video editing tools such as CapCut, InShot, or After Effects.
  • Experience managing multiple brands, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience using AI-assisted creative tools is a plus.
