Electro -Automation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Automation Technician to join our team and service shipyard equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing the controls of modern devices, with a keen understanding of issues related to ship electro-automation.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain shipyard equipment, including electrical and automation systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Electro-Automation Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of repairing controls of modern devices.
• Knowledge of ship automation systems.
• Knowledge of the functioning of basic ship devices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alarm systems.
• Knowledge of issues related to the operation of generators.
• Basic knowledge of radiocommunication and radionavigation devices is recommended.
• Familiarity with ship electro-automation systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
