GIS Specialist-DBM/DD

JOB DESCRIPTION

Geodata Systems, the premier provider of smart mapping and spatial analytics solutions in the Philippines, is looking for a GIS Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Interview stakeholders and gathers requirements. Understands and analyzes clients business requirements, business/use cases.
• Create and configure GIS web applications, mobile applications and dashboards using ArcGIS configurable tools and apps.
• Create and edit spatial data (vectors) and attributes.
• Create metadata.
• Extract features from imageries.
• Convert GIS data from one format to another.
• Design maps for printing.
• Design maps for publishing and application consumptions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of BS Geography, BS Geodetic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related I.T., Engineering and Science courses

Required Skills:

• Knowledgeable in ArcGIS
• Communication (Verbal) and Interaction Skills
• Proficient in MS Office 365
