Entry-Level Customer Engagement Representative

GEM is hiring an Entry-Level Customer Engagement Representative to support customer interactions, community outreach, events, and client engagement activities.

This is an in-person entry-level position designed for individuals who enjoy working with people and are interested in developing professional experience in customer engagement, communication, outreach, and event support.

Previous experience in customer engagement, marketing, or outreach is not required. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with customers and community members
• Provide information about client programs, services, and initiatives
• Answer questions and assist customers with general requests
• Support customer engagement and community outreach activities
• Participate in community events and promotional activities
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
• Follow established procedures and client guidelines
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete assigned responsibilities
• Attend scheduled training sessions and team meetings
• Maintain a professional and positive customer experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and dependable approach to work
• Comfortable interacting with people in person
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills and procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned responsibilities
• Previous customer service or customer engagement experience is helpful but not required

Training and Development

GEM provides training related to the responsibilities of the position. Training may include customer communication, customer engagement, community outreach, event support, teamwork, and applicable client or campaign procedures.
