PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Facilities Manager for the General Affairs (GA) Department in Bali is essential for ensuring the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of all company facilities. This role is critical to maintaining the high standards of facility management, which directly impacts the productivity and satisfaction of employees and the overall effectiveness of the company's operations. By overseeing the maintenance and functionality of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, the Facilities Manager ensures that the workplace environment supports the company's business activities and strategic objectives.
Additionally, the position is designed to provide leadership and expertise in facilities management.
ROLE
- To undertake coordination role between project team and customer team and management role of the cost, schedule, quality and targets of onshore portions
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the GA Department in Bali.
- Ensure the maintenance and functionality of all facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendors and service providers.
- Coordinate and supervise renovations, refurbishments, and relocations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to address facility-related needs and improvements.
- Prepare and present reports on facility operations and maintenance activities.
- Travel within Indonesia as required to oversee and support facilities in other locations.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities management or building management, with a strong emphasis on MEP systems, particularly electrical.
Skills
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for facilities management.
- Fluency in English is preferred
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, especially electrical.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.
- Ability to develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules
Leadership and Management:
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience in managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and overseeing vendors and service providers.
