We're seeking Audit Senior's to support a prominent UK accountancy practice during its busy social housing audit season. This 6-month contract offers hands-on exposure to large, complex audits while working with one of the UK's most respected mid-tier firms.

What Youll Do

• Lead and execute full audit cycles from planning to completion.
• Perform detailed risk assessments, substantive testing, and analytical reviews.
• Supervise and coach junior team members, ensuring audit quality and compliance.
• Liaise directly with finance teams, resolving queries and delivering clear audit outcomes.
• Prepare audit reports and ensure timely completion for partner review.

What Youll Bring

• CA(SA), ACA, or ACCA qualified with at least 2+ years of recent external audit experience.
• Technical proficiency in FRS 102, UK GAAP, and the Housing SORP.
• Experience auditing social housing, charities, or public sector entities is highly advantageous.
• Strong command of CaseWare, CCH, or similar audit software.
• Exceptional communication, planning, and client-relationship skills.
