Audit Senior (UK Client)

We are currently seeking an experienced Audit Senior based in South Africa to support audit engagements for established UK accounting firms and their clients.

In this role, you will work as part of international engagement teams, contributing to UK audit engagements while remaining based in South Africa. This is an opportunity to build global experience, work on complex engagements, and grow your career while staying rooted locally.

You will collaborate closely with UK-based managers and teams across a portfolio of clients that may include mid-market corporates, professional services firms, and not-for-profit organisations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and perform sections of audit fieldwork for UK-based clients
• Prepare and review audit working papers and audit documentation
• Identify audit risks and areas of control weakness
• Work closely with UK-based managers and engagement teams
• Support and review the work of junior auditors where required
• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality audits in line with UK auditing standards and IFRS

What We're Looking For

• CA(SA), ACCA or ACA qualified
• Minimum 3 years external audit experience within a professional services firm
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies and financial reporting standards
• Experience preparing audit working papers and financial statements
• Experience with CaseWare Working Papers preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international teams
