Job Description:
Principal purpose(s) of the position
- Supervise the general accounting section of the department
- Handle, review and prepares financial reports of GBPI.
Primary duties and responsibilities
- Prepares monthly Flash Report.
- Prepares monthly Financial Reporting Package
- Conducts analysis on operating expenses movements
- Reviews and analyzes transactions recorded in General Ledger
- Assists in the gathering and analysis of data needed in the preparation of the budget.
- Responsible in closing oracle modules and posting entries in oracle system
- Prepares monthly accounting schedules as support in preparation of financial
- reports.
- Prepares and submits documents required for internal and external audit of books & work processes
- Develops or otherwise provides cost information / data which will be used by
- management in decision making.
- Supervise preparation of accruals, asset management and preparation of accounting
- reports for the company and its affiliates.
- Delegates functions and evaluates performance of subordinates.
- Maintains and updates books of accounts
- Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant
- With extensive experience in General Accounting
- At least 2 years of experience in a Supervisory role
