Job Description:
The Management Engineer plays a key role in ensuring that production processes run efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with Gardenias quality standards. This position is responsible for auditing operations, planning and supervising factory improvement projects, and recommending process enhancements to support optimal productivity and maintain industry-leading standards. Key Responsibilities
Operational Audits & Compliance:
Conduct regular audits to ensure production processes adhere to company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor work areas to verify compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Project Planning & Supervision:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise projects aimed at factory improvements, maintenance, and repairs.
Develop preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment performance and operational needs.
Process Analysis & Improvement:
Analyze current production procedures and documentation to identify inefficiencies.
Utilize theoretical knowledgeincluding time & motion studies, ergonomic assessments, plant layout, and electrical layout planningto recommend actionable improvements.
Prepare detailed reports on findings and project progress, presenting recommendations to senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and optimize workflow.
Mentor junior engineers and supporting staff in best practices for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineer.
Experience & Skills:
Exposure to leadership roles and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and AutoCAD.
Familiarity with methods such as time & motion studies, ergonomic assessments, and layout planning is an advantage.
