Position: SACCO Manager
Location: Ruiru
Gross Salary: KES 50,000

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SACCO Manager to lead their operations, drive growth, and ensure the delivery of exceptional service and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of SACCO operations, and a passion for financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day SACCO operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Design and execute growth strategies, policies, and financial controls to enhance organizational performance.
  • Oversee loans, credit management, and member services to ensure high levels of satisfaction and financial stability.
  • Ensure adherence to Ministry regulations and other relevant statutory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the SACCO team to foster a culture of excellence and achieve business goals.
  • Drive the adoption of digital finance solutions and the development of new financial products to meet the evolving needs of members.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in SACCO management or financial services, specifically in Back Office Services Activity (BOSA)
  • Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) certification
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Co-operative Management, or a related field
  • In-depth understanding of SACCO operations, credit management, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management capabilities
  • Excellent financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management skills
  • Proficient in SACCO management systems and digital financial solutions
