About the job Project Manager
Job description:
Responsible for leading and managing construction projects from inception to completion. It's also coordinating all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. Project Manager will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Set project timelines and manage schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Lead and manage project teams, including construction workers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring team members have the necessary resources and support to complete their work efficiently.
- Provide leadership and motivation to the team, ensuring a high level of performance and collaboration.
- Procure materials, equipment, and services required for the project.
- Oversee inspections, testing, and quality assurance processes throughout the project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is typically required.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Builder trend, Microsoft Project) and construction-related software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam).
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, contract law, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
