A private family is seeking an experienced, warm, and highly organised weekday nanny to provide shared care for three children: a boy aged 10 and two girls aged 7 and 3½. The children are happy, healthy, and active, and all three will attend school full-time from September.
This is a busy, fully staffed household with a weekend nanny, housekeepers, a PA, and rota drivers. The successful candidate will be confident working both independently and as part of a wider team, and will bring energy, emotional intelligence, consistency, and genuine care to the role.
The position is focused on the children's wellbeing, routines, social development, and intellectual growth. The family is looking for a nanny who is hands-on, proactive, reliable, and able to support three children with active schedules in a calm and structured way.
Duties include:
- Managing the children's morning routine, including bathing, teeth-brushing, dressing, and school preparation
- School runs and taking the children to activities
- Planning and delivering age-appropriate, stimulating activities at home
- Supporting and overseeing homework
- Organising playdates and liaising with other parents where needed
- Keeping toys, books, bedrooms, clothes, uniforms, shoes, and school kit organised
- Preparing healthy meals for the children, particularly during school hours
- Child-related housekeeping, including tidying the children's rooms and replenishing kit, uniform, and supplies
- Child-related admin, including scheduling appointments, liaising with tutors, checking school communications, and similar PA-style support
- Travelling with the family within the UK and internationally
- Occasional babysitting, Bank Holiday cover, and cover for the weekend nanny by prior arrangement. The family have a spare room available for the nanny to use during babysitting nights, if preffered.
Requirements:
- Minimum three years' nannying experience, ideally in private households
- Experience caring for multiple children
- Emotionally intelligent, patient, warm, and consistent
- Energetic, organised, caring, and responsible
- Confident following a structured routine
- Comfortable working in a busy, fully staffed household
- Experience working in London and confident navigating the city
- Degree or formal childcare qualification preferred
- Norland-trained candidate preferred
- Enhanced DBS check, paediatric first aid, right to work in the UK, and excellent checkable references
This is a long-term role with a respectful and appreciative family who value a professional nanny and the important role they play in the children's lives.
