Senior Structural BIM Modeller

With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, Fyfe is expanding its Power & Electrification capability and is seeking a highly experienced Senior BIM Modeller to play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering high-quality technical outcomes.

The Opportunity

You will lead the production of enhanced digital deliverables including 3D modelling, design drafting, and checking on project deliverable drawings and models. Apply advanced BIM and CAD expertise across multiple disciplines to deliver high-quality digital engineering outputs while providing guidance and mentorship to junior drafting and modelling staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of project drawings, 3D models, and other digital deliverables across assigned disciplines.
• Develop engineering deliverables compliant with client standards and document management systems.
• Interface with client and project document management systems.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company and project QA procedures in relation to drawing and digital deliverables.
• Ensure compliance checks of digital deliverables are completed before a design package is released to the client.
• Work with the team to produce engineering drawings and models suitable for concept, detailed design, tender, and construction issue.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years' experience in structural BIM modelling and drafting within an engineering consulting or construction environment.
• Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's qualification in Drafting, Building Design, Engineering Technology or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for structural modelling.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks for model coordination, clash detection and multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and structural steel detailing.
• Experience producing structural documentation for industrial, utility, renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of Australian Standards and engineering drawing conventions.
