As Australia's transition to renewable energy accelerates, so does the demand for experienced heritage professionals who can help deliver projects responsibly and sustainably. Our Heritage team plays a critical role in supporting some of Victoria's most significant renewable energy developments, working alongside planners, environmental scientists and engineers to balance project outcomes with the protection of cultural heritage.
We're looking for a Senior Heritage Consultant to join our growing Victorian team and play a key role in delivering major renewable energy and infrastructure projects while helping to build and mentor our expanding Heritage capability.
What You'll Do
- Managing heritage projects from proposal through to completion.
- Delivering high-quality heritage assessments and technical reports.
- Managing project budgets, schedules and client expectations.
- Building strong relationships with clients, Traditional Owners, regulators and key stakeholders.
- Leading and mentoring junior consultants.
- Contributing to tender submissions and business development opportunities.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on renewable energy, transmission, infrastructure and environmental projects.
About You
- A tertiary qualification in Heritage, Archaeology, Anthropology, History or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience delivering heritage projects within a consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Victorian heritage legislation, cultural heritage management and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience managing project budgets and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and passion for mentoring emerging professionals.
