About the role
Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects across the country. These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, oil and gas above ground processing facilities, as well as maintenance, integrity and construction related work programs. The role is offered on a full-time basis.
Skills & experience
We are looking for a qualified Senior Electrical Engineer with 5 + years experience to join our Adelaide team working on project portfolios across the energy and resources, specifically oil, gas and mining sectors. We are looking for an energetic team player who can lead projects, consult with clients and mentor the junior team members.
Duties include:
- FEED and detail design of oil and gas, and mining facilities
- Preparation of Electrical and Instrumentation drawings, documentation and reports
- Hazardous area design and equipment selection
- Preparation of specifications
- Material requisition and Datasheets
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, 5 15+ years
- Experience within the Australian oil and gas or mining industry preferred (other industry experience also welcomed)
- CPEng and RPEQ preferred, or the commitment to achieve this within an agreed timeframe
- Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and client requirements
- A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality work
- Commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace and the use of safe work systems
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects
- Demonstrated team player
