Key Responsibilities
Financial & Operational Leadership:
- Lead and execute the states strategic plan.
- Manage P&L, pricing strategies, and financial reporting.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimise profitability.
People & Capability:
- Lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Oversee recruitment, performance, training, and HR initiatives.
- Drive collaboration, engagement, and senior leadership contribution.
Business Development:
- Identify and grow market opportunities.
- Build client relationships and enhance Fyfes market presence.
- Lead marketing, branding, and strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications, skills and experiences
- Strong commercial business acumen with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Strategic thinking and strong leadership skills
- Tertiary Qualifications in relevant field
- Proven experience as a senior leader / general manager / or similar leadership role in a consulting context
- Proven experience in environmental or planning consulting in Queensland
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in identifying and developing new market opportunities.
- Strong values-based leadership with a growth mindset
- Financial management/reporting and analysis skills
- Strategic planning and resource management skills
- Collaborative problem-solving skills with a big picture lens
