About the job Lead Process Engineer - RPEQ
Fyfe's Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas, renewables, and hydrogen projects across the country. These include mining process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, oil and gas processing facilities, as well as maintenance and construction related work programs. Additionally, Fyfe is actively involved in helping our clients with their Energy transition goals across a broad range of solutions including hydrogen and biogas.
The Role
The Lead Process Engineer will be at key member of our expanding work into the renewable's expansion into Hydrogen, Biogas and other related renewables scope.
This role will see you utilise your strong leadership capabilities to manage a dynamic team of engineers on a range of exciting projects.
Other Duties:
- Discipline Team Lead for Brisbane office-based Process Engineering team
- Mentoring and training junior engineers
- RPEQ sign-off of process engineering deliverables
- Preparation and review of engineering design documents
- Tender estimation
- Perform the Lead Engineer role in HAZOPs and LOPAs
- Business development including functions, meetings, conferences as required
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering
- RPEQ accreditation is essential
- Australian CSG gathering and brownfields experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of applicable industry Codes & Standards including API 520 / 521, AS 60079 and AS 2885
- Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and client requirements
- A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality of work
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects
- Ability to manage a project team and be a team player
