Our Heritage team plays a critical role in supporting some of Victoria's most significant renewable energy, transmission and infrastructure projects, working alongside planners, environmental scientists and engineers to balance project outcomes with the protection of cultural heritage.
We're looking for a Heritage Consultant to join our growing Victorian team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects while developing your technical expertise and building your career within a supportive and multidisciplinary environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver heritage assessments, site investigations and technical reports across a variety of renewable energy, infrastructure and development projects.
- Manage heritage projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Participate in fieldwork, archaeological investigations and heritage assessments as required.
- Build strong relationships with clients, Traditional Owners, government agencies and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare fee proposals and contribute to tender submissions.
- Work collaboratively with environmental scientists, planners and engineers across multidisciplinary projects.
- Stay up to date with heritage legislation, regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
About You
- A tertiary qualification in Heritage, Archaeology, Anthropology, History or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering heritage projects within a consulting environment.
- Sound knowledge of Victorian heritage legislation, cultural heritage management and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong report writing, communication and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- A collaborative attitude with a genuine passion for protecting cultural heritage.
